Automated Shuttle Racking

Automated Shuttle Racking

From selective pallet racking to fully automated AS/RS: the right storage for your loads, your building, and your turnover.

Why It Matters

Use the height you already pay for

Most warehouses run out of floor long before they run out of building. The right mix of racking and automation stores more pallets on the same footprint, without giving up access to the ones you need most.

Selective rackingEvery pallet within reach of an aisle, for many SKUs and fast access.
High-density and automatedFewer aisles and deeper lanes, so more pallets fit in the same space.
Tall selective racking aisles stocked with pallets
Newly installed pallet racking with end-of-aisle guards

How It Works

From layout to load

Every storage system starts with your pallet profile and building, and stays safe through regular inspection.

  1. 01

    Design

Your loads, turnover, and building set the system and the layout.

  2. 02

    Install

Racking is installed with minimal disruption to the operation.

  3. 03

    Inspect & maintain

Regular inspections and repairs keep it safe and compliant.

System Integration

Storage as part of the whole flow

DeRosa connects storage to receiving, picking, and shipping, and to the trucks, AMRs, and software that move pallets in and out.

  1. Assessment

Loads, SKU profile, turnover, and building are reviewed.

  2. Layout & simulation

Options are laid out and tested against your data.

  3. Installation

Racking and automation are installed and commissioned.

  4. Inspection & service

    Regular inspections, reports, and repairs.

Canadian standards

Steel storage racks are designed to CSA S345, with use and inspection guided by CSA A344 and lift truck safety by CSA B335.

Handling equipment

Aisle widths, lift heights, and lane depths are matched to your trucks, or to autonomous forklifts and AMRs.

Cold storage

Drive-in, push-back, pallet flow, shuttles, and AS/RS are all used in coolers and freezers, where density cuts the area to cool.

Software

Shuttle systems and AS/RS connect to your WMS; simulation tests the layout before it is built.
